The Card Sorting Station

Twenty angled slots on one board, each sized for a standard sleeved trading card. It was built to end the kitchen-table sprawl of "look at these later" piles, and it has been on our game nights ever since.

  • Deckbuilding. Sort by color, curve or role and see the whole deck at a glance.
  • Opening packs. Slot keepers, trades and bulk as you open, not after.
  • Table control. Twenty piles in a 12 × 16 inch footprint.

Commission a piece

Names, party crests, character art you own, a guild logo, or a box sized for one particular game. Most of what we make started as someone's odd request.

  1. Send the idea

Describe what you want, the size, and any art or names to include.

  2. Approve a proof

You get a quote and a design proof to approve before anything is cut.

  3. We forge it

A deposit holds your slot. Cutting, finishing and assembly start then.

  4. Pickup or ship

Local pickup in town, or packed and shipped to your door.

Personalized pieces are made for you alone, so they can't be returned. We'll make sure the proof is right first.

The workshop

Who works the forge

Godric the Gaele is a storm sorcerer who traded wandering for a workbench. He keeps his forge charged from the lightning that rolls over the peaks each summer, and he spends the quiet months turning that power into tools for adventurers: towers that tumble fate fairly, trays that keep the dice on the table, and lanterns that bring the storm indoors.

— Godric the Gaele

Behind the character is one maker in Colorado who has spent years building laser-cut projects and electronics for his own game table. The Manaforge started when friends kept asking for their own sorting stations and dice towers.

The GG on every piece stands for Godric the Gaele. Gamers will also read it as "good game," which is how we hope your sessions end.

Everything is made here: designed in-house, cut on our own laser, finished by hand, and signed with the forge mark.
